Solomon fled his homeland Nigeria in 2016 as a politically persecuted person to Germany in order to be safe. Since then, he has been fighting with the german bureaucracy to get a long-term residence permit. He lost both of his jobs due to a change in his residency status, although both employers applied for his continued employment. We accompany Solomon in his everyday life and during the court case that will now decide whether he will be allowed to stay in Germany.
